Medical Weight Loss
If you’ve followed a healthy diet and increased your physical activity but still struggle to reach your goals, a medical weight loss program may provide the personalized support you need. Medical weight loss is a science-based, doctor-supervised approach designed around your health, lifestyle, and individual needs.
At IBI Clinic, we provide personalized medical weight loss services for patients throughout Georgia. Our programs may include nutrition guidance, lifestyle changes, ongoing progress monitoring, and prescription weight loss medications when medically appropriate—all designed to support safe, sustainable, and long-term results.
Medications in our Weight Management Programs
When prescribed and monitored by a qualified healthcare provider, prescription weight loss medications can complement a healthy diet and regular exercise while supporting more consistent progress. Certain treatments, including GLP-1 and dual GIP/GLP-1 medications, may help regulate blood sugar, reduce appetite, and slow gastric emptying, helping you feel fuller for longer.
At IBI Clinic, our medical weight loss specialists create personalized, doctor-supervised treatment plans based on each patient’s health history and goals. When medically appropriate, these plans may include the following prescription weight loss medications as part of a comprehensive approach to sustainable weight management:
Tirzepatide (Mounjaro®)
Tirzepatide is a once-weekly prescription medication that activates GIP and GLP-1 receptors, helping regulate blood sugar, reduce appetite, and promote longer-lasting fullness. Treatment generally begins with a low dose and may be gradually adjusted based on each patient’s response and tolerance. Mounjaro® is FDA-approved for adults with type 2 diabetes and should only be used under medical supervision.
Semaglutide (SlimMed)
Semaglutide is a once-weekly GLP-1 medication that may support medical weight management by reducing appetite, increasing feelings of fullness, slowing gastric emptying, and helping regulate blood sugar. At IBI Clinic, eligible patients receive personalized dosing, ongoing medical monitoring, and lifestyle guidance to support safe and sustainable weight loss.

- Patients take some medications daily, while they take others weekly.
We expect users to dispose of injections properly when using pre-filled syringes or injection pens designed for one-time use.
- Some injections come in the form of multi-dose pre-filled injection pens that use a new needle attachment for each injection.
